I’ve been having trouble sleeping recently, I could fall asleep easily but waking up without fail around 1am and 4am and having trouble going back to sleep. And because it’s my favourite thing to do – it was starting to really piss me off.
So aside from being sleep deprived and super grumpy to live with, I was also getting dizzy spells and finding it really hard to string a sentence together, forgetting words and needing to have an afternoon nap EVERY DAY – which can get awkward when you’re at work.
So off the to Doctor’s I go to get my Iron checked. It turned out as well as being really low in Iron (4), I was also on the lower end of B12 so I was put onto Iron and B vitamins.
